    When not flying at air shows across the world or practicing at their home-base, the F-35 Demonstration Team’s mission is the same as many of the Airmen in the 388th Fighter Wing, to be ready to deploy at a moment’s notice. The maintainers on the team are responsible for performing maintenance and routine inspections on operational aircraft while Capt. Wolfe flies as an F-35 instructor pilot for the 34th Fighter Squadron.
  • F-35 Demonstration Team completes its first year at Hill Air Force Base

    The F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team has officially completed its first year as an Air Combat Command Demonstration Team. The team’s performance at the “Sun N’ Fun Holiday Flying Festival” in Lakeland, Florida earlier this month marked the team’s 12th and final performance of the season. The F-35 Demo Team is an aerial jet demonstration team, with a mission to inspire, engage and recruit the next generation of Airmen, as well as educate the global public on the capabilities of the Air Force’s newest 5th-generation stealth fighter. 
  • F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team Schedule announced for 2021 Airshow Season

    The 2021 air show schedule for the Air Force’s F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team has been officially released. Announced today during the Virtual International Council of Airshows annual conference, the Utah-based team is scheduled to display the capabilities of the F-35A at approximately 22 performances starting in April 2021 and running through December.
  • F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team & 388th Fighter Wing to Salute Utah with State Flyover

    We're incredibly thankful to all of the front line COVID-9 responders, and everyone else out there working to flatten the curve. As a small show of support and solidarity; alongside the 388th Fighter Wing, we'll be launching a multi-city Utah flyover from Hill Air Force Base this Thursday, 30 April at approximately 1 p.m. MDT. Details with the route/approximate flight times to follow. (Times are subject to change. Utah residents should observe the flyover from the safety of their homes, and should refrain from travelling to see the flyover. We strongly encourage all residents to maintain social distancing and avoid large gatherings.)
