Maj. John Wallner, right, took command of the 388th Munitions Squadron, during a ceremony here June 3. Wallner, originally from Marietta, Ga., previously served as the director of operations at the 86th Munitions Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany and as an associate professor of aerospace science for the AFROTC Detachment 165 at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He will command more than 200 Airmen who provide lethal munitions for the F35-A Lightning II aircraft, by managing an $83 munitions stockpile. Wallner takes over for Maj.
