Captured here is the 560th Bomb Squadron’s Mohr crew, shot down by fighters while flying the 388th’s “Black Monday” mission to Stuttgart. Kneeling from left to right are TSgt. Hartzell H. Jones (Engineer), SSgt. Robert W. Wallin (Waist Gunner), SSgt. Robert R. Ammarell (Tail Gunner), SSgt. Rodric C. Beckham (Waist Gunner), TSgt. Halleck H. Hasson (Radio Operator), and SSgt. Bernard A.
