Tech. Sgt. Scott Foy, superintendent of the 388th Equipment Maintenance Squadron?s corrosion control shop, speaks with a civic group April 26 about the unit?s efforts to restore the P-47 Thunderbolt. The P-47, a single-engine fighter known for its air-to-ground attack capabilities during World War II, is one of a handful remaining in the world and will make its way to Hill AFB?s aerospace museum in May.
