HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Airmen from Hill AFB made Valentine’s Day a little sweeter for local senior citizens.
Chancellor Gardens, an assisted living facility in Clearfield, hosted a dance for its residents Feb. 11. As in years past, men and women from Hill AFB served as partners on the dance floor, swaying to live music from a local band.
“My grandmother was in an assisted living community and I know how lonely she felt at times,” said Tech. Sgt. Ryan Howard, 419th SFS. “I hope that spending time with the elderly will lift their spirits. I liked hearing their stories and enjoyed the time we all were able to spend with them.”
