HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- On Monday, the Roy Gate will begin operating at reduced capacity through Nov. 8. The West Gate, South Gate, and Southwest Gate will resume normal operating hours.

During the Roy Gate construction period, employees and visitors are encouraged to use the West, South and Southwest Gates, especially during the installation's peak traffic hours from 5-8 a.m. and 2:30-5 p.m.

Base officials said inbound and outbound lane traffic at the Roy Gate will be significantly impacted throughout the construction period.

Gate hours of operation:

South Gate is open 24/7

West Gate is open 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. This gate is closed weekends, holidays and AFMC Family Days

Southwest Gate is open 5-8 a.m. and 2:30-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. This gate is closed weekends, holidays and AFMC Family Days

Roy Gate is open 24/7; however, significant lane restrictions will occur. Employees and visitors are highly encouraged to use the West, South and Southwest Gates.
