Flu shots available at Hill Clinic for Tricare beneficiaries Published Oct. 22, 2014 75th Medical Group HILL AFB, Utah -- The most effective weapon in the flu fight is an annual vaccination and they are now available for all Tricare beneficiaries at Hill. The 75th Medical Group has both the flu shot and the flu mist available at the Immunization Clinic located on the first floor of the Hill Clinic in building 570. Flu vaccines are mandatory for active duty military personnel. The Centers for Disease control and Prevention recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older receive a flu vaccine as soon as they are available because it takes approximately two weeks after the vaccination before the body develops protection. People with pre-existing respiratory medical conditions, pregnant women, children younger than 5, and adults over the age of 65, are all have a greater risk of serious complications if they get the flu, according to the CDC. Vaccines will be available: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays : 7 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Wednesdays: 7 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-4:45 p.m. The Immunization Clinic and 75th MDG will be closed for training on the second Wednesday of each month.
