Active duty, Reserve maintenance personnel honored

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah --  Airmen from the 388th and 419th Maintenance Group took home dozens of awards during the Maintenance Professional of the Year ceremony here March 9. The annual event recognizes top performers from Hill's active duty and Reserve fighter wings.

Hundreds of attendees heard from keynote speaker Maj. Gen. Brent Baker, Ogden Air Logistics Complex commander. The general praised the maintenance personnel for their successful flying hour programs, safety record, and for passing recent inspections.

"I have been watching what you do, and it is absolutely amazing," Baker said. "Your mission capable rate of over 80 percent has gone on for more than five consecutive months. It's the best in the Combat Air Force."
