HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The Child Development Centers East, West, and the Youth Center -- will be closed on Monday, March 30 after one staff member and one child required COVID-19 testing.

Out of caution, the 75th Air Base Wing is closing all three facilities while we wait on the results of the other test.

All families that use the youth programs are being notified of the situation.  All facilities have been cleaned in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and 75th Medical Group guidelines. Families will be notified when a decision has been made to reopen the facilities.

As several Team Hill members will be impacted by this closure, the installation commander has asked supervisors of these individuals to grant liberal work at home options, to include telework options, allowing parents to stay home with their children.

When the youth programs re-open, there will be health screening in the parking lot of The Landing Community Center.  All staff members and children will be medically-screened, prior to access to care at any of the centers. The screening process will be a drive-through system, with interviewing and temperature taking occurring in the vehicle.  Patrons are asked to remain in their vehicle and follow the directions of the screening personnel at all times.

Children who are showing signs of sickness should remain home until they are symptom and fever-free for 72 hours.  The goal of these guidelines is to take care of Airmen and families and preserve their health.
