Major Sean J. Loughlin is the Commander, F-35A Demonstration Team, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. He leads the safe, disciplined execution of worldwide F-35A aerial demonstrations in support of national defense objectives. As the demonstration pilot, he represents the Air Force to military leaders, civilian officials, media, and the public, communicating the F-35A’s role in global deterrence, interoperability, and combat readiness.
Maj. Loughlin commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps in 2015. He has completed operational assignments flying in the F-15E at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom; the A-10C at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea; and the F-35A at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, amassing over 1,200 flight hours. Prior to assuming his current position, Maj. Loughlin was the Chief of Wing Safety, 388th Fighter Wing, Hill AFB, Utah.
