Senior Airman Orrin M. Hammontree is an Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief for the F-35A Demonstration Team, 388th Maintenance Group, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. A native of Gulfport, Miss., Airman Hammontree enlisted in the Air Force in April 2023. In his role, he is responsible for scheduled F-35A maintenance and inspections, ensuring the aircraft is safe for flight during the airshow season. Hill Air Force Base is his first and only assignment. Prior to his current position, Airman Hammontree was a Dedicated Crew Chief with the 421st Fighter Generation Squadron, Hill AFB, Utah.
