AIRMAN FIRST CLASS MATTHEW A. DOOLEY

Airman First Class Matthew Dooley is an avionics specialist for the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration team, based out of the 388th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The mission of the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration team is to showcase the unique aerial capabilities of the Air Force’s most advanced 5th generation multi-role stealth fighter, the F-35A Lightning II, as well as highlight the history of the Air Force’s service through heritage formation flights. A1C Matthew Dooley is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the advanced avionics suite to ensure safety and success performing the demonstration during the season.

Airman Dooley grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and entered the U.S. Air Force in February, 2022. He has over a year of F-35 experience in the 421st Fighter Generation Squadron and has deployed to U.S Central Command in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.
