Staff Sergeant AUSTIN V NOYVONG

Staff Sergeant Austin Noyvong is the aircrew flight equipment journeyman for the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration team, based out of the 388th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The mission of the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration team is to showcase the unique aerial capabilities of the Air Force’s most advanced 5th generation multi-role stealth fighter, the F-35A Lightning II, as well as highlight the history of the Air Force’s service through heritage formation flights. SSgt Noyvong is responsible for all of the pilot’s life support and flight equipment and ensuring the gear is ready to fly for each aerial demonstration.

Sergeant Noyvong entered the United States Air Force in April 2017 after graduating from Syracuse High School in Syracuse, Utah. He has background and experience on the C-130J Super Hercules and F-35A Lightning II aircraft. His assignments include bases in Arkansas and Utah.
