A-10 Thunderbolts from Moody Air Force Base, Ga.'s 74th Fighter Squadron lined the ramp here Aug.1-8 to participate in the Air Force's air-to-ground Weapons System Evaluation Program known as Combat Hammer. Airmen and aircraft from 10 Air Combat Command units dropped over $1.2 million-worth of munitions on the Utah Test and Training Range Aug. 4-22. With support from the 388th Range Squadron, Airmen in Eglin Air Force Base's 86th Fighter Weapons Squadron, 53rd Wing, will collect and analyze data on how these precision weapons performed and their suitability for use in War on Terror deployments.
