ACC inspectors release 388th superior performers Published Oct. 4, 2007 By Senior Airman Stefanie Torres 388th Fighter Wing Public Affairs HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The 388th Fighter Wing completed a Unit Compliance Inspection Sept. 16-21 as directed by the Air Combat Command Inspector General. The inspection allows the IG team to verify the compliance with public law, executive orders, and Department of Defense, Air Force and ACC directives throughout the wing. "The team usually comes out to inspect us every five years," said Ms. Janet Sanders, 388th FW plans analyst. "We were officially notified of the UCI in September 2006. The 388th FW had been preparing since then," said Ms. Sanders. During their time with the wing, UCI inspectors recognize exceptional individuals or teams who have developed outstanding initiatives. Only the top four percent are eligible and recommended by their commander. The superior performer program is established to recognize those whose knowledge and perseverance contribute greatly to the unit's compliance and mission readiness.
