F-35

Hundreds of thousands of people witnessed the speed and maneuverability of the F-35A during two attack demonstrations at Hill’s 2018 Warriors Over the Wasatch Air and Space show here. The combat scenarios featured dialogue between a Joint Terminal Attack Controller in ground combat coordinating close air support with F-35A pilots. The demonstration featured multiple passes from the jets and a pyrotechnic display. Hill’s 388th Fighter Wing is the first combat-capable F-35A wing in the Air Force and this is the first time they have flown an attack demonstration in an air show.
