HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah, --  Hill AFB youth programs -- child development centers (CDC) East, West, and the youth center -- will reopen tomorrow, March 31 for mission essential personnel only.  COVID-19 Test results on the staff member and child are negative.

Anyone who was directed to quarantine based on pending results of tests for the CDC staff member and child, can now stop quarantine.  All families that use the youth programs are being notified of the situation.  All facilities have been cleaned in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and 75th Medical Group guidelines.

When the youth programs re-open, there will be health screening in the parking lot of The Landing Community Center.  All staff members and children will be medically-screened, prior to access to care at any of the centers. The screening process will be a drive-through system, with interviewing and temperature taking occurring in the vehicle.  Patrons are asked to remain in their vehicle and follow the directions of the screening personnel at all times.

The screening will be available from 5:45-8 a.m. if you need to drop children off after that, you must go to the clinic first to be screened. Also, to speed pickup, the same person who dropped off the child should pickup the child to avoid additional screening time.

Children who are showing signs of sickness should remain home until they are symptom and fever-free for 72 hours.  The goal of these guidelines is to take care of Airmen and families and preserve their health.
